I mean, I guess if they’re just asking it questions it’s basically just a faster search engine so that’s oka-

It all comes in addition to parents using ChatGPT to keep kids entertained by having the bot read their children bedtime stories or talk with them for hours.

Well they’d probably have still been bad parents pre-AI.

I have no problem with an automated book reader - so long as we can be sure the book is being read verbatim.

I loved Dr. Seuss as a kid before I could read. There came a time when my dad just borrowed an audiobook collection from the library, duped the tape, and basically told me to have fun.

      Same with Jonathan Livingston Seagull.

Yes, it’s crucially important to read to/with your kids. But when it’s the same book the hundredth time, they can do with an audiobook and you can read them new stuff.

Makes me wonder what horrors I’m blissfully aware of because I block ads.

i do too, but they still come up in apple podcasts for me.

you have suggestions for eliminating them? i was stitcher fam til they died and didn’t like any of the available alternatives so i ended up with apple.
