i said in another comment that where we are right now is that 1/3 of the country, the 1/3 in control, fully plans to kill the other 2/3 of the country. 1/3 of the country is working to slow or stop them. a remaining 1/3 doesn’t understand this is happening.

Niagara and KISS are IMO the best launchers out. Niagara is more polished, KISS is open source, requires few permissions, and has an almost pathological dedication to supporting low power hardware

i can’t help but be pleased that you associate 3 of my favorite instances with eachother! it makes me feel like i’m acting in a group who’s putting good things into the world
in addition to those, and anarchist.nexus (which @db0@lemmy.dbzer0.com mentioned), i think quokk.au also belongs (i think they even had a vote to join the flotilla db0 was mentioning, but that they voted no). while these instances are not formally allied via the governance pact of said flotilla, i do find them, and the users on them, to generally have complementary views and stances on the world, how it works, and how it should work.
it’s less like a flotilla and more like ships at sea who all hate the royal french armada together. we party at the same ports together, but we’re all on different adventures

i’ve been reflecting on this for a couple hours trying to gather my thoughts and find where it is i’m failing. so let’s go through what we’ve been through to get here
in all of this, we have continued to get killed. now the only pretext our killers need is that they want to kill us. and so we’re falling into a civil war because we’ve exhausted everything else.
and still, across lemmy i get told to either fight my police directly, or someone like you tells me that fighting the police is not the only option.
the only conclusion i can reach is a lot of people who don’t know what we’re going through feel real confident they know better than me what’s going on
