Ok, so not every single student does this. But I’ve heard tales of a lecturer who caught his student out. How did he slip? He copied and pasted the but that said ‘AI can make mistakes’ or whatever the copilot equivalent is 🙄

    More importantly, not every university has test conditions that make this possible. The ones that do are doing it wrong

      Agreed. I read of a university somewhere in the north once, way back in the early 2020’s when AI was becoming prevalent, that they were allowing students to take examsat home unsupervised. Not a joke (and before you ask, no it wasn’t during Covid; it was just after, I think). Thankfully, I think they stopped but it just goes to show what stupid decisions can be taken.
