Yeah I have heard a podcast about her recently, and apparently the book Year Without Summer talks about how the 1816 eruption of Mount Tambora was so violent that it covered the entire world in ash and caused a mini ice age event. Insane to imagine, but paintings from this time will show the sky with strange colors.

In many places back in the 90s, you are a statuatory rapist. Even where age of consent had exceptions for persons close in age, those were typically 2-4 years, so you still would have been.
