This reminds me of the time when my brother introduced me to battery powered water guns. I had no idea such a thing existed (Super Soakers followed shortly after). It was no match for my puny squirt gun.
You got other more informative responses, but he definitely had a battery powered one first. The Super Soaker put it to shame though, in terms of volume of water delivered per unit of time.
I hate so much that Nerf bought them out just to kill the brand. Kids these days will never know what it’s like to own a decent water gun. They only sell the puny squirt guns in stores now.
I had the xp105 and I figured out the nozzle at the end was removable in case it got clogged. I just left it off because instead of a small narrow stream that went far, I could drench someone with a shotgun like blast that shot about 8 ft. It emptied so fast but was worth it when I got close to someone.

I had a Super Soaker CPS 3000, with the Constant Pressure System, this was awesome. I soaked my enemies :-D

yea… the first ones date back to the 1970s
Supersoakers were invented by an former NASA aerospace engineer, Lonnie Johnson, in 1989.
