No, voting will not fix the legal systems that are currently held captive by oligarchic interests. If you need proof look at the right wing influences perpetuated by botnets that have infected the electorate world over. Or if that’s not enough for you look through the recently released Epstein(Trump) Files. That shows the FBI had knowledge about Trump’s Pedophilia back in the 90’s and did nothing to him.

The current legal systems can only be changed by working outside of them. All it takes is us grouping up and forcing those changes through. No longer should we tolerate The Billionaires’ legal systems that keep us(The Working Class) enslaved.

    You need both

Voting has changed a LOT and you don’t even need to look back one lifetime to see that. Violence can help push it along

40 to 50 percent of eligible voting Americans don’t fucking vote and then complains that voting doesn’t change things.

    Vote Blue! Their platform includes

    • Small budget cuts to the jackbooted thugs murdering you in the streets!

    • Slapping billionaires on the wrist in the court of public opinion, the only court that matters!

    • Allowing all of their legislation to get hung up by a rotating cast of party traitors and then backing them to the hilt when a progressive candidate primaries them!

    • Throwing money at healthcare industry donors to fix healthcare!

    • Restoring faith in American alliances by promising to look the other way when any of our pals decide to genocide those naughty minorities.

    • Gerrymandering, but this time it’s us so it’s cool!

Ahem. To be clear, I’ll vote against Trump any chance I get, but we are still totally fucked until we get politicians that can actually stand for something that big business doesn’t donate to.

Worked in New York, imagine if we all found enough Mamdani’s to change representation across a majority of states and cities.

(https://www.progressivevictory.win/ helped get the last wave of socialist leaders elected, they need help, they can help you find candidates in your area to support and volunteer for)

Any that don’t work with the corrupt DNC? I was curious with this one, but upon joining their discord saw that’s all they wanted was supporting the people that compromise constantly with fascists instead of holding their ground and publicly telling them to go fuck themselves.

Nothing for my state from what I see on their candidates page so not sure what to do with them. I don’t like donating to groups I haven’t seen action from in person for. Like I adore PSL, but their only contact lately has been asking for donations and doing stuff on the other side of the country from me. DSA does stuff in my state, but I’ve gotta convince myself a 45 minute - 1 hour drive is worth it at 10 AM.

I’ve been doing that and, in a world where Democrats are actually interested in making the world better and more fair, maybe that would work.

The problem is that Democrats don’t want that. They want to continue supporting big business, deporting “illegals”, drone striking foreigners, making tons of money from corporate donations… But occasionally wave a rainbow flag. They want to keep our race into fascism under the speed limit, and are wondering why they’re getting no traction with people who want to turn the fuck around.

If they had a platform that made even modest promises about taxing billionaires, bringing bloodsucking insurance companies and predatory banks to heel, getting the police in line etc. they’d have a wildly popular platform and they’d naturally stop trying to squash progressive candidates. But unfortunately, the corporations say fixing issues will make their stocks go down.

      I think that’s all anyone’s really asking.

but we are still totally fucked until we get politicians that can actually stand for something that big business doesn’t donate to.

The neat thing is anyone can enter any race. So. Y’know. They should do that. Instead, they’re . . . not. Hell, the Democrats will give you classes on how to run a campaign for your specific area if you want.

The DNC Is absolutely a colluding, complicit party in ALL of this, for decades now. (Particularly because it’s the same people who have been there for decades) but the DNC is just a container. We can pour the container out and laugh as we do so. It’s been happening lately, it’s ramping up.

They’ve had enough old-money and donors (the same donors the GOP have) to weather primary attempts for many years. It’s institutional. But the system is too large to rig entirely, the states have so much more power than they want you to believe, and it just takes enough districts, cities and states to change hands and start new representation and we can kick the legs out from under this rotten pile of garbage.

Why do you think voting doesn’t fix issues?

PROTIP: it’s not because politicians are evil individuals who are, en masse, conspiring against the will of the Proletariat™

It’s because political views in this country are fucked

We lose mostly fair and free elections, or win them only by a hair’s breadth, because the overwhelming majority of people are not on our (leftist, socialist) side!

It doesn’t matter what form of action you take - from voting to direct action to a fucking civil war - there is no lasting victory without solving that essential problem.

People who insist that the trouble is just that we haven’t used the right means to force through our ideology into the government need to sit down and rethink their fucking lives.

      True

False. Democrats are very truly captured by the same forces of influence that pollute our political views. They are “en masse,” because they basically try to preserve their individual gravy trains by a form of collusion to keep the status quo.

We need historic voter turnout for these scenarios:

      1. Elections are free and fair. Overwhelm them and take both chambers.
      2. Elections are not free and fair, but in a manner that can still be overcome. Overwhelm them and take what you can.
      3. Elections are totally cooked. Overwhelm them so that it is easy to reason that it was already cooked.

Umm, which race riots would those be? Especially for the white guy in a ski mask?

NOT VOTING, is what caused this, for fuck’s sake. If we HAD VOTED, this wouldn’t be happening.

Trump is taking flak for the Epstein stuff, his embarrassments on the world stage and the crappy economy. We could be smart and use that to win Congress in November. Or we could be stupid and engage in indiscriminate violence which Trump the excuse to shut down the country.
