I’m one of the messier people here (male), and I wonder if it’s because I think of cleaning as an efficiency thing. Like walking around and getting it all at once is quicker per item than taking each thing to the kitchen individually. For laptops the battery replacements are easy to do usually. Apple is the only one who’s devoted their whole brand to making it impossible to repair full sized devices. I’ve replaced about 15 random dell laptop lithium batteries in the last year.
