The murder of Renee Nicole Good by ICE officer Jonathan Ross has certainly created quite the divide between the reality-based majority of the population who doesn’t want masked unaccountable federal law enforcement goons invading cities they have no business being in and shooting people for saying “dude, I’m not mad at you” and trying to drive away… and the fantasy-land MAGA folks who are bending over backwards to justify the murder.

    The quote:

“We gotta stop the hateful rhetoric. Saying this officer is a murderer is dangerous. It’s just ridiculous. It’s gonna infuriate people more which means there’s gonna be more incidents like this, because the hateful rhetoric is not only continuing, it’s gonna be double down or triple down.”

Jonathan Ross is a murderer, fascist goon, and traitor to our country.

What’s “double down or triple down” mean? That they intend to crack down further, promoting the use of even more violence by the state?

I’m thinking that we should have a group of concerned citizens that tracks the whereabouts and movement of this killer. We need to make sure our communities are safe from Jonathan Ross, who is a cold blooded killer. In an act of transparency, this group of concerned citizens could publish their observations to a database that can be audited by third parties when needed. In order to keep themselves safe from the known killer, Jonathan Ross, theses citizens should make sure that they are able to defend themselves, in case he attempts to murder any of them. This is all to keep communities safe from murderers, like Jonathan Ross, as well as other brown shirts who have also killed in cold blood.

I’m kinda out of the loop here. Is the officer (piece of shit) under investigation and suspended or is he on the street with a gun?

The federal government is claiming the FBI has exclusive jurisdiction over the investigation in an attempt to prevent Minnesota from trying him on state charges, while also trying to paint Renée Good as a subversive extremist as a retroactive justification for the murderer’s actions.

Either way, he killed a person. I don’t know how it’s in the US, but shouldn’t he be suspended until the court decides he’s innocent and after undergoing psychological evaluation?

In the US we give them a pat on the back, reload their gun, and throw them back on the streets.

Good luck with that. Even in Russia, an officer is suspended after killing a person. I guess it compensates court corruption but what do I know

For the police, typically they would be suspended while the case is reviewed.

With these guys, apparently they declare them not guilty on the spot and let tgem carry on shooting civilians.

Unfortunately, the head of the FBI is a political appointment, making the FBI and Department of Justice under the current administration more tools for selective, partisan legal enforcement than actual justice. Given that the FBI is currently trying to claim Good was an activist, rather than determining whether her civil rights were violated, it currently seems unlikely that Jonathan Ross will be convicted. It’s an investigation looking to paint Ross as the victim from the start.

Unless Minnesota can obtain access to the evidence and try him on their own, the only hope would be for a conviction under a non-Republican administration, assuming Ross isn’t pardoned of federal charges by that point, and that the FBI hasn’t tampered with the evidence in the meantime.

Thanks for the detailed response! So Ross doesn’t even have the status of a suspect, which is common in the US

Well he was acting under the authority of a regime that is actively looking for an excuse to deploy the military against it’s own citizens and fetishizes murdering their political opponents. In a sane world he would at a minimum be suspended pending an investigation, but instead the fuhrer will try to get out of any possible charges and probably give the fucker a medal.

Good psych evaluation is exactly what got him this job in the first place. They want the crazies with no regard for life.

          but shouldn’t

We’ve been saying this broadly for a few years. What should be is not happening broadly. This country is going down in flames.

“Dont tread on me” is escalatory language that endangers the law enforcement officers that are currently breaking the law by treading on you. We may tread more harshly on those using this language.

Next time try saying “Tread on me harder daddy” this is language shows you are benign and docile, and may slow the speed and severity of the tread. Thank you for you compliance.
