Do you feel like AI is working for you?

No, that’s like … the entire problem. This guy has brain worms. “Just ask me softball questions, wah wah wah”. Bitch ass.

He just spouted all the AI talking points, desperate to get someone to parrot him because no one is believing the lies. It just sucks that no legislation is actually being worked on to curb the ridiculous amount of power and privilege these systems have over the government and common people.

Yeah I hate it when people refuse to answer questions they’ve been asked. Only really stupid person would do that.

Seriously though why is anyone asking this guy his opinion on anything, is a fascist and his company is basically a fascist incubator. It’s not like he’s going to have a insightful nuanced opinion or anything.

Is it just a bunch of unpleasant people getting rich who ask obnoxious questions and refuse to answer the questions that they’re being asked?

    Since you’re asking obnoxiously? Yeah

Idk. If the manager at a local mcdonalds gave an interview calling people stupid as shit and then rambling nonsense, people might suppose the same. The only time I’ve had someone do that to me they were clearly unhoused with some kind of mental health condition.

This guy is the head of an international corporation, named after an evil entity, owned by a famous Billionaire who is frequently in the news about cartoon villainy. He should ostensibly have some media training that details why this little crashout is sad, pathetic, and embarassing.

Yeah sure, sad pathetic and embarrassing. I agree. That’s why I said psychopath and nutjob.

But mental breakdown? Come on. That just conflates people who have legitimate mental health issues with this guy’s lunacy.

Fair enough. It is hyperbolic, but I’m not sure by how much.

I will give honorable mention to the pathological greed. If greed wasn’t so celebrated, I’m sure there’d we’d have a proper diagnosis for their insatiability.

Nah, he is the perfect example of how nepotism and who you roommate with in college gets you ahead of everyone else. Sadly, using these parameters to choose leadership may be great for the ownership class, but sucks for the rest of the world.

I have my own personal nepotism at my company where the future son in law of the CEO keeps making shit mistakes that my entire team has to fix. Then we all have to pretend he’s not an idiot and dedicate most of our weekly team meeting to listening to his dumb ass shit.

So hmm yeah. Nepotism is hard at work.

Yeah I mean he literally could have just said “I believe that we can have a productive discussion and find common ground in our goals for the future of the technology and the prosperity of the nation” or some such smarmy non-answer. Like…dude immediately assumed hostility instead of listening and seeing the kid gloves he was being handled with already lmao

Seems he’s perpetually on the back foot and feeling some high anxiety about the bullshit he’s peddling.

Yeah I have that thought regularly. These idiots can’t just keep to themselves and be rich and do literally whatever the fuck they want, they have to be in the public eye and fuck with our lives. But so far none of them seem mentally stable enough to maintain a good image if they’re in front of the camera enough without a pr person filtering the things they say.

So I hope it gets to them that no one likes them. I hope they feel supremely lonely. Like that time Elon Musk thought he would be super cool and stream playing PoE but ended up rage quitting in silence while crying (in his private jet) because twitch chat spammed stuff like “Grimes will never love you” and telling him to pay child support. I hope they feel like that every day.

Honestly imagine how much better the traffic for somewhere like greater LA could be made by an AI system using cameras and variable speed limit signs to control the traffic flow.

If they used A.I to make our lives better in just a few ways I think society in general would be so much more tolerant of their shit.

Palantir mostly does government contracts. If they haven’t done a traffic system yet, it means no government has asked them to. So this one is on the LA local government as much as it is on the AI companies.

Spend tens of millions of your own money developing something or get paid hundreds of millions to do it.

There are an infinite amount of things that could be useful, you can’t develop all of them in anticipation of demand.

AI has to work for the warfighter and for enterprises

Do you feel like AI is working for you?

It’s not supposed to work for us. I’m shocked by the honesty. AI is good for “the system”, at the expense of individuals. I’m a little annoyed the clip cuts off there.

That’s what I thought too. This isn’t a mental breakdown. This is someone forgetting to keep up appearances. This is someone speaking his truth, because this is actually how it works. There is a lot of money in the military complex and drone warfare is quickly become the reality of war. That it sometimes targets schools, is a shame, but it’s less costly than sending actual soldiers to the battlefield. I believe these are the kind of visions companies like palintir and the US army are build on.

Claude didn’t just target the Minab school; it double tapped it. Also nuremberg etc. etc. Seriously the sooner you guys stop giving any benefit of the doubt to these chess players, the sooner we can fix society. Any day now.

Claude didn’t target shit, Americans did. “AI told us bad people were there” is an excuse and a shitty one. Even if it did (and you can get AI to agree with any viewpoint so it very well may have), an actual human being made the call to double tap the school, either knowing it was a school or not bothering to look it up on Google maps before even ordering the strike.
