Never played WoW - so many lives were ruined at university that it was basically a cautionary tale. Don’t do crack, don’t do WoW. Been playing some Big Walk recently though, and I think the appeal is the same - it’s a chill activity to do with friends. Played a lot of Deep Rock Galactic previously and I think it’s the same (on haz 3) - a load of chill busywork, a bit of more exciting fighting, then back to chill and chat. Haz 4+ is a bit more focused.
I enjoy it while chatting with friends. It’s relaxing.
