Most of those statistics are useless without knowing the effect they have on the world. Knowing how much concrete is produced doesn’t mean much until you multiply it by the amount if CO2 released per kg. Total steel production tells you little about which steels are produced, what uses various types have, and how elastic the supply and demand are for each. How much cereal people eat doesn’t matter unless you consider who buys it and what effects it has on people’s health. Energy use per person needs to be contextualized with how that use differs across the globe, how much energy goes into the goods those people consume, and why those differences exist.

Understanding the economy requires more than just knowledge. You need the wisdom to know what that information actually means.

It’s more that she has committed to living a life where she lives only by her own code rather than “respectable” external expectations. Her commitment to her principles is one of my favorite things about her, as saying no to prevailing norms takes a ton of strength. Her independence is so important that wanting her to bend to your will is basically her red line. Just like how there are things we do that you cannot tolerate; trying to police her behavior is a hard, uncompromising boundary.

Also yes, she does have many tales of adventure. I’m convinced she has magical properties.

How did it feel for them to not believe you were a boy?

She says she intends to, but knowing her, you should probably mention it every now and then. Don’t tell her to do it as she doesn’t like to be told what to do, but keep it on her mind indirectly.

Also, it’s not that big of a deal that I want pancakes. It’s more that I’ve never had them that way and I would like to try them at some point

I’m disappointed it didn’t mention catgirls and how they relate to puppies. Meowing is just the standard greeting, regardless of if they’re a cat, a puppy, or none of the above.
