You had that vs a guy who wrote a book on managing the environment (which yeah, he’s not following) and the best financial and professional record of any politician in my life.
At the time, there was no other choice. To this day I know 100% hrs doing better than Singh or Pollievre would be.
ok so then Canadians got scammed and should be critiquing this government rather than continually re-litigating an election that happened 18 months ago. Corporations understand that elections are only a small part of how governments are influenced. Time for regular folks to wake up to this fact too.

I’m disagreeing with the statement “LPC voters should be ashamed”. That’s a bad take. We should be angry, but I don’t see a world in which I should be ashamed for picking the best option of the few available.
I’ve written my MP with how unhappy I am with the party in specifics, and how much I’ve donated, and that I’m no longer supporting or donating. Until there’s someone I can support, this is the action I can take.
I tried getting involved supporting someone who wanted to run for the NDP, but they got passed over and basically harassed by Avi Lewis jackasses. So I have tried, and I feel like all the parties are kinda hugely shit.

The “oh no but who else was there” is the excuse that Carney supporters are soothing themselves with because they don’t want to admit they got hoodwinked. Some of us were calling out Carney’s real goals prior to the election and were shouted down mercilessly by people reacting to Trump
LPC armed a genocide, subsidized ecocide, lied about electoral reform, refused to reign in property barons or grocery oligarchs. They’re also a huge pulsating cancerous lump.
Carney’s dumping money into ai bubbles, offensive submarines, property acquisition corps. Every British person I’ve ever communicated with about him says he is a nightmare.

They didn’t lie about electoral reform, nobody agreed and every party wanted the system that favoured them the most. Every party played politics on that instead of asking what’s best for Canada.
Imagine they change it and the second the CPC get power they change it to what they want? They’d never shut up about it either, it would have been a disaster. Imagine Alberta separatism with that feather in their hat.
Not true. The nationwide public consultations and the committee all came to the conclusion that Proportional Representation was the way to go, and recommended a mixed-member proportional system. The Liberals pulled the rug out because it wasn’t their preferred outcome.

He advised not to do Brexit, and then had to deal with mitigating the consequences after they did it anyway.
