Yeah I write my models in OpenSCAD with
nanoand I really like it :3I built myself a toolmaking script with openjscad. So it was kinda my primary CAD for a few weeks anyway.
Ok then, cad by printing a model with octoprint, by pressing the move buttons no custok gcode.

I hear the video editing part of blender is actually decent for casual use.
Hell the latest versions of Blender actually make it a treat to use.
The only thing I miss is adjusting playback speed in the editor for editing.
When I was a kid wanting to get into YouTube (all evidence of which has been scorched off the face of the earth), Blender wasn’t actually that bad of a video editor.
