Jackson, the family’s attorney, said the ambush involved “extreme levels of violence that you would see for drug dealers, narco- terrorists, criminals” – an unnecessary amount of force for someone with no criminal history. He said DHS knew the family were represented by attorneys and could have contacted them with the warrant, avoiding the trauma of arresting him at gunpoint.

There need to be criminal charges for officers who use these kind of tactics without justification. And yet this is completely normal policing in the USA.
