It’s funny how many of these have been about how uncomfortably hot/cold it is.

The world before AC was rough.

Otherwise known as “the world in a great deal of Europe still”.

I’m so glad it’s been a cold summer in Finland so far.

Can you post me a picture of the weather/outside in Finland right now? I need to convince my brain that Finland without snow exists

We’re in daylight season, so it doesn’t even become true night time anymore these days.

What’s sad is, there’s less snow every year. Last year there wasn’t any snow on Christmas in Helsinki.

If anything, you might want to visit while it lasts at this rate.

i haven’t seen “real snow” in Germany in years (in my definition that is enough to pick it up and form a snowball).

Heatwave across Europe right now. 35°C today where I am, I have no A/C. I just hide and hydrate a lot, it’s manageable but I wouldn’t call it peak comfort.

        Ugh. That sounds lousy.

I’m older, but I only recently got AC. It’s a nice quality of life improvement.

Maybe it is because, as you say, a lot of these are about the temperature, but I think this one is a repeat. If not there is another that involves her and an aquarium.

Hmm, it would have to be a similar one, I think. I don’t remember manually translating “kánikula” before (scanning w/ google didn’t work), but it’s also possible that I’m forgetting something.
