Yeah. I think the big thing is that music isn’t generally a shared thing these days, it’s something you listen to yourself and maybe share with friends and family in some situations (e.g. car trip) and even then your personal tastes have to align enough for that to be bearable.

Whereas back in the day my dad has stories of like, meeting up with his extended friend group to all listen to the new Black Sabbath album.
