Summary

Republicans are struggling to defend Trump’s economic policies as markets decline and recession fears grow.

The Dow has dropped 7% this month, and tariffs on allies and rivals have raised consumer prices.

Some White House officials worry about a slow recovery, while GOP lawmakers express concern over Trump’s trade moves and deep government cuts.

Lawmakers and donors see a lack of strategy, with tariffs hurting U.S. businesses.

Nah, relying on a hundreds of years old document with no realistic method for updating to better fit a modern society is a big part of how it got this bad in the first place.

It’s mostly patches and original errors and needs to be replaced rather than still trying to make it fit something it was never made for.

While you are correct in the point that the US political fabric needs a fundamental overhaul, lets do this step by step. Betting rid of Trump and his fascists is the first step. Fixing the fundamental problems of the American political setup, like FPTP voting, campaign financing, the makeup of the Senate, the unholy union of head of state and head of government, gerrymandering, and the way the president is elected are the necessary next steps.
