Candy corn is one of the only sugar based candies I like. But only fresh, if it’s stale it’s as bad as Skittles or smarties

What if corn syrup was somehow both chalky and waxy? I bet people would pay us to put that in their mouths.

The key with candy corn is mixing it up with peanuts or any kind of nut really. Then it’s just a payday.

I hate candy corn, but those little pumpkins made from the same earwax and termite honey are kind of okay sometimes. I think because the shape leaves the inside a little less dry.

I’m like the only person I know IRL who likes it. The most common complaint is the texture but that’s my favorite part

My favorite part is using them as monster teeth! I like to nibble them from pointy tip to fat ass one at a time when eating them, the texture is perfect!

I only know of one other person in real life that actually likes them, most people dislike or are indifferent.

They shouldn’t have that texture unless they are old and stale or really cheap. Like chocolate, they vary from brand to brand.

            I like Brach’s the best.

Candy corn is a small, pyramid-shaped candy, typically divided into three sections of different colors, with a waxy texture and a flavor based on honey, sugar, strawberry, and vanilla. It is a staple candy of the fall season and Halloween in North America.

Candy corn’s traditional colors of yellow, orange, and white represent the colors of the fall harvest, or of corn on the cob with the wide yellow end resembling a corn kernel.

Candy corn has a reputation for generating polarizing responses, with articles referring to it as “Halloween’s most contentious sweet” which people either “love” or “hate”.

Wait, wut? There’s supposed to be different flavors? I just tasted sugar, sugar, and sugar (… and I love 'em).

Candy corn’s traditional colors of yellow, orange, and white represent […] corn on the cob with the wide yellow end resembling a corn kernel.

This is why it’s called candy corn. Because, when stacked, it starts to look like corn on the cob.

Huh, for some reason I had assumed candy corn was that popcorn spayed with that colourful sweet crap. Now I need to seek out some of this so I can have a new hatred.

All I know about candy corn is what it looks like and that it apparently tastes bad.

Considering that the people who dislike candy corn are the same people who think that Hershey is anywhere close to being chocolate and that Reese’s peanut butter cups tastes of anything other than pure sugar with a hint of peanut, I am terrified what candy corn tastes like.
