Remembering those who died in service maybe…

“The 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month” is when WW1 ended and is held as Remembrance Day across Europe .

And Canada. I don’t remember it specifically but I am certain I was sitting in my school gym for a Remembrance Day assembly.

No way! It was actually the same with me on 12/12/12 12:12:12. I spent the better part of that day trying to explain to my high school class chat why it is a big deal (it is the last one like that until 2100, with two digits being the same). Nobody was in any way as thrilled about it as i was. I sat on the couch in the living room–alone, when the 12th second struck. Won’t be forgetting that anytime soon… what a time to be alive.

Interestingly enough, I’m 80% sure, because it was a weekday, and I sat in the exact same spot for all of high school. The 20% are for the possibility I was sick, in the bathroom, or had a special class I had to leave our classroom for.

Probably heading to the city centre to pick up a copy of Skyrim for Xbox 360.

I got home, did my NaNoWriMo writing sprint, and then fired up Skyrim and played like 12 hours straight.
