Dunno how things are in America, but at lest here in continental Europe, during the pandemic, the app-economy delivery shit was mostly run by befuddled immigrants. Who got absolutely screwed over what comes to fair wages. Not to mention the fact that most of the small and medium sized restaurants that had an existing delivery services basically got bullied to joining the app-economy shit. It’s capitalism in it’s raw form. Fuck all of these apps.

I got home, did my NaNoWriMo writing sprint, and then fired up Skyrim and played like 12 hours straight.

Moving posts/comments to other sites isn’t a thing in threadiverse. Especially if you’re a regular user. However, migrating the content of Lemmy instance database to Piefed is apparently starting to look like a feasible thing and some Lemmy instances like slrpnk are exploring that possibility in the future.

What you can do is export your Lemmy subscriptions and import them on a Piefed instance.

Edit: Yeah, apparently the Amiga version of the same song is a little bit bop too. But I still think the PC version is, like, the definitive version of OPL2/AdLib boppery! The first machine I ran Linux on was a 486DX 33MHz too. I think it had 8 MB (or some weird thing like 4 MB originally and randomly stuck 8 MB addition? I don’t remember anymore.)
