Tortillas are pancakes

The word tortilla is derived from the Spanish word torta, meaning roughly ‘cake’ or ‘pie’, plus the diminutive suffix -illa; therefore tortilla can be translated as ‘little cake’.

If flatbread then maybe tacos are pizza.
