I mean I’ve never seen illegal content so far, which I guess is my main concern. I know a bit back lemmy had a problem which led to my old instance just purging all images from a certain time frame / instance and temporarily defederating the affected instance until they removed it from their side. I am also sure that other mainstream platforms I’ve been on have/had problems but I never just stumbled on it and had to see it.

I don’t understand why so many organizations make it so hard to donate. Why do I need to enter my name and e-mail only to discover you don’t support european banks. It cannot be that complicated to set up an eu-bankaccount and publish the IBAN to just let me wire money, right?
