Summary

A CBS News poll shows Donald Trump starts his transition with widespread approval from Republicans and net-positive ratings from Americans for his Cabinet picks, including Marco Rubio as Secretary of State.

Many expect his administration to lower grocery prices, a priority for voters amid lingering inflation concerns.

While Republicans are optimistic about the economy and America’s future, most Democrats remain apprehensive, though fewer feel motivated to oppose Trump compared to 2016.

The poll also highlights renewed GOP confidence in U.S. elections and a strong preference for increased presidential power for Trump this term.

I am beyond suspecting, but am solidified in the thought all this media coverage is fake…

They perhaps interviewed a small number of people for appearance sake, lets say 25, and the data from that is extrapolated into a nationwide “opinion”.

And Trump reads the conclusion, proclaims in a speech that he has universal approval, other folks hear him say that and think oh well he is saying it as the grand king with the whole intelligence apparatus behind him, so it must be true.

This is what social media is about anyway (warping appearance of something) and now is rolled out over other media…

Singular thought is steamrolled over so it all goes back in submission.

And the populace sits there, eating the brown slurry dumped in their bowl…

People who have landline phones and nothing better to do than watch Fox “news”.

That’s what they said about Harris’s weak numbers and every time someone brought up how Trump was gaining for an entire month before the election. I think the first step is acknowledging how much support he has. And then to face the fact that Republicans now control the presidency and have majorities in the supreme court, the house, the senate, total counties, state legislatures, and state governorships. I don’t think we can blame that on landlines.

Both can be true. People just didn’t realize how pervasive ignorant people that own landlines are.

It literally makes me nauseous seeing how total their control is. I don’t have the stomach for what’s going to happen over there in the next 2 years, and how bad the world is going to regress because of it.

It’s going to be a dystopia worse than anything I’ve ever read and all I can do is watch on in horror.

It’s the same incoherent feels that informed these voters to vote for Trump in the first place.

From this poll, a majority are optimistic on the economy and that Trump will bring down prices, and also favor his tariffs and deporting “all” immigrants here illegally. They seem to have no idea what they are even saying.

And again, women and minorities are but an afterthought for the entirety of America. Even the DNC has shown they don’t care about us.
