I have a feeling the largely blue and population dense NOVA isn’t going to be ready to elect a Republican right now
NoVA, Richmond, Norfolk/Virginia Beach, City of Roanoke, and Montgomery County all not having it this year, and the first three make up about 2/3 of the state’s population
Good. Put in a Dem back in the governor’s mansion, and keep the legislature blue, and maybe they can finally finish legalizing weed. The stupid state legalized possession the last time the Democrats had full control, but they left the tax and sales regulations for the next session. Then the voters put a Republican in the governor’s mansion and the damn republicans started trying to ban it again so they never finished passing a distribution and tax framework. The state is missing out on substantial tax revenue that it desperately needs.
