People are forced to keep their plants indoors because housing instability and HOAs make outdoor plants illegal or infeasible. Anarchists grow houseplants by proplifting, a form of piracy where they take plant cuttings from garden stores and grow them. Corporations say that proplifting is stealing, and that it harms businesses. Anarchists say that life should be free.
