Every so often we have issues with the local tram service because someone has driven up the line of a section where there is no shared space with road traffic and got stuck, despite it being very obvious from the signage, road markings and eventually a lack of suitable ground to drive on that you shouldn’t be driving there.

Agreed that a bollard would definitely help here but it worries me to the state of mind of some of the drivers on our roads. Surely it was obvious that an already narrow path was narrowing further and to stop before wedging your large car between a bench and a fence?!
