Their main purpose is to make people feel good about the car they just bought (and are making enormous monthly payments on) so that they buy the same make of car next time.

Apparently car commercials aren’t even really meant to sell cars. Their main purpose is to make people feel good about the car they just bought (and are making enormous monthly payments on) so that they buy the same make of car next time.
