    Does someone read this and go “oh no %50 don’t support Madani so I should quench all my positive feelings for him.” Maybe they do and that is why they produced this excrement piece of a headline.

      The title says almost half of New Yorkers aren’t supportive of DSA.

      Now:

      • that means majority of New Yorkers are supportive
      • “aren’t supportive” implies that people who are apathetic are also included in that group
      • there’s also suggestion they might have counted people from New York State instead of New York City, but I don’t believe that

      People just want to see their bias confirmed. They read this and think ‘see, i knew he wasn’t as popular as they say’.
