It was a marketing piece and it did its job incredibly well. Few people in the world don’t recognise it on sight (unfortunately).
They basically put a concept vehicle into production, and I actually respect them for that.
I’m not so sure about the publicity aspect though, all publicity definitely isn’t good publicity. It’s hideously ugly, but what’s worse is the reliability has been terrible.
Europe:
Looks a bit like an ellert. In the last version of those from the mid-nineties they did 0-100 in about 3½ seconds. Company folded shortly after.
Is the red one a real pic or a photoshop? It seems to actually look decent with some color as opposed to its normal appearance as a stainless steel fridge.
I saw a black one a few months ago it looked worse than stainless
