Preds are going to continue to be a bottom middle team regardless. I’m just waiting on the news that Josi or Forsberg get moved so they can try to win a Cup.
It’s crazy to me how many teams were still in the mix for playoffs, even just a few weeks ago before the Olympic break.
Now it seems a real buyers market out there with a lot of teams seemingly trying to shift a lot of players.
I still hope someone rolls the dice on Elias Pettersson, both for him and for the Canucks.
I’m immensely disappointed in the lack of my team being involved in anything meaningful. Can’t wait for the GM to say prices were crazy again this year.
Here’s to yet another disappointing season for the wings.
What do you think would have been better for the wings?
Getting Hughes, even at the cost of Edvinsson would have been a net positive. Any other D that isn’t a borderline AHL talent would be nice, several were traded and a few more have been thought available.
A legitimate top 6 player would also be a great addition, their 5v5 offense is garbage. Trochek would be huge.
The Wings have a glut of prospects and fringe talent that can be leveraged to better use than a record setting AHL team. We also don’t need another mid to late 1st round pick that won’t play for 3 years.
That’s really interesting thanks
A move was actually made, there’s some hope after all.
Kind of stunned by the loss of John Carlson. Sounds like everyone else is, too. KT said she was pretty surprised when she woke up and saw that news, and I feel like she’s one that would have had a clue if there was one to have.
That said, the Caps have been very inconsistent since Ovi beat the goals record last year. Maybe this lights a fire, shows them no one is safe.
