Americans seem to have no middleground with tea, either it’s entirely neglected to the point of dark comedy, or we take it too seriously and make it weird. I at least manage not to be the former.

The “taking it seriously” American thing I noticed is to have a drawer full of compartments with tea in individual little packets by the bag.

(and I’m sure you get told this a lot, but I love your username)

          Thanks lol

Those cubby holes are pretty weird, feel like they belong in a shop. I’m a bit extra with my tea in that I buy the bougie stuff, make my own essential oil infusions, and have a massive 2 litre teapot and frequently use it with a candlelight warmer.

Sometime try mixing black tea with cinnamon and orange essential oils. Let it dry a few days and it makes a tea that’ll keep you warm and taste sweet with no milk or honey!
