Have you ever had a dog (specifically a large breed) before?

Edit: fuck shock collars, btw. Hope the implication here is not that big dogs need them. See my reply below.

I have! They’re beautiful. I never needed anything more than a standard leash and collar.

That said, I know nothing about this incident or the random Internet personality that no one seems to care about. I’m just chiming in because I like dogs.

Edit: I should also mention that I’m not a little prepubescent boy who can’t control an animal. Is that relevant to the topic?

If your next point is that a shock collar is necessary to train a large dog, first of all you’re wrong about that. But let’s say it is. Do you think it’s ethical to “train” the dog to sit in the same spot on camera for hours on end, for streamer content? Because you’d be wrong there too. There is no defending Hasan’s treatment of his dog.

That was not my next point. It was not a shock collar, it was a big dog getting her dew claw caught on her bed and yelping. That’s it.

I’ve had big, clumsy dogs. They are always hurting themselves and knocking shit over with their awkward appendages.

I appreciate your measured response, but just parroting the Hasan defenders’ damage control narrative at me without anything else to back it up, is not at all convincing.

To be clear though, I think ICE supporters are rabid Zionists. Evangelical religion fills their mind with Zionist propaganda, particularly concerning the so-called “end times” and Israel’s place in that sequence of events.

I just wish people would learn about these things from someone less shitty than Hasan. Cults of personality where thousand of rabid parasocial youths descend upon their hero’s perceived enemies with personal attacks at the slightest provocation are bad, no matter which way they lean politically, and Hasan makes his living off it.

I’m sorry but the people who sell you those talking points are banking on the fact that you never watch Hasan’s stream. And it’s working !

It takes all of 5 minutes to go through his stream history and realize that the dog is only there a fraction of the time. It’s just living its dog life, sometimes coming on the cot, sometimes going off camera for a moment or an hour or two. The idea that he forces her to be on-screen for hours on end like some sort of decoration only makes sense if you never ever watch any of his content apart from pre-compiled “video evidence”. That is why when they compile said “video evidence” it will always be streams that are weeks or even months apart. They’ll edit together moments of him scolding/training the dog, with that occasional episode where she stayed in the cot for a couple hours, with some minute moment where it kinda sorta looks like he’s activating something off camera if you squint and look backwards into a scratched mirror.

It’s trivial to debunk but teenagers on social media love it and they will lap that shit right off the plate, even contributing with their own “evidence” and theories. They’ll trip over themselves trying to make the crime look as heinous as they can imagine, it’s normal it’s just a way to learn social codes through role-playing.

Most of you keep your dog in a tiny hot backyard. Kaya is living a better life than you.

Go on and share a clip of him using the shock collar. I will wait. Everything you are saying is based on assumptions made by people who support Trump and Israel.
