      There’s a song by the '90s/'00s band Barenaked Ladies called “If I Had $1000000.” It’s about how the singer would buy anything for his love if he had the money to do it; a house, some furniture, a treehouse.

      But it’s a comedy song, so there’s some funny banter; like the fact that he’d buy his love some art—a Picasso or a Garfunkel, and most relevant for this meme, while he wants to buy his love a fur coat, he clarifies “but not a real fur coat, that’s cruel.” Later that joke is called back as he says he’d buy his love “a green dress / but not a real green dress, that’s cruel.”
