Came in here to say “just put some curry in it” and glad to see others have done so already.

Seems quite an odd gift, but for a young couple just starting out, maybe they don’t have a gravy dish and it’s nice to have? Like socks are the go-to cheap gift, but if someone’s got you a nice pair of wool socks, that shows they care a bit more. Someone giving you a cheap pots-and-pans cookware set? Mid. A single cast-iron pan though? That shows thought. This though? Looks destined for the bin. It looks like it’ll be a chore to sweep up broken off the floor inside a year.
