Not really Luigi’d. The guy was going for NFL headquarters for causing his CTE, and accidentally got the Blackstone exec, a cop, and two innocent bystanders instead.
We are definitely going to see an uptick in adventurism as the decline worsens. This is why even from an anarchist perspective I do recognize the need for some type of vanguard. If people are gonna start doing shit like this we need a principled cadre to take the reins and guide this unrest in a more organized and effective direction than just spontaneous acts of helpless lashing out.

The targeting the NFL bit is based on note that the pigs conveniently found on the shooter’s body. I wouldn’t be surprised if the pigs and the mayor’s office fabricated the evidence wholesale like they did when Luigi was busted: they learned from last time that when someone kills a person who unequivocally deserves it, the masses sympathize. I think one part of why the killing of Brian Thompson was met with near universal praise is because there was no collateral damage.
I honestly don’t believe the NFL story. He specifically went to the 33rd floor where the CEO was located. The NFL story reads to me as the media learning from last time that the people just sympathize with CEO weed wacking. So I assume they’re trying to obfuscate in an attempt to curb support for this behavior.
What I heard was that the 33rd floor was the only one the elevator would go to without an employee/visitor badge.
