Talking about the book is really a waste of time. Read it or don’t, but discussing the context of the book is boring.
That is my opinion. Of course people may disagree, sok.

If you always do, then that means it’s normal, by definition.
The funny thing is that if AI coding were that good, we would already see widespread adoption in open source projects. But we haven’t, because it sucks. Of course commercial software development companies are free to lie about how much they use AI, or get creative with their metrics so they can get their KPI bonuses. So we can’t really believe anything they say. But we can believe in transparency.
As always, there are so many people selling snake oil by saying the word AI without actually telling you what they mean. Quite obviously there are a great many tools that one could call AI that can be and are and have been used to help do a ton of things, with many of those technologies going back decades. That’s different from using ChatGPT to write your project. Whenever you hear someone write about AI and not give clear definitions, there’s a good chance they’re full of s***.
Not only the shareholders. If some of the higher level administration can get richer in the short run, even if that might actually hurt the shareholders in the medium run, you can bet that many of them will do so.
A great number of people have thought of many non-religious reasons. If you look online, you can find them. I’m sure you’ve heard some of them before, and it just slipped your mind momentarily.
Nobody really believes Musk is being shut out of the administration. Trump and Musk lie constantly. Of course they’re lying about this.
Right right that’s true, we should focus on the future. But if you’re too blind to realize that most Washington Democrats are never going to help make things better, you need to look at the past more.
We got where we are for many reasons, which definitely include the actions of Democratic president and congresspeople over the last three decades. Those people brought us where we are, with Republican help of course, so we would be fools to expect any better from them going forward.
And we all know that the university is just f****** around. They will withhold whatever documentation for a month or two, and then if he gets a lawyer they will quietly cave, because they never cared one way or the other, they’re just afraid of Trump.
I don’t quite agree. On the one hand, all of those companies that publicly caved to Trump are f****** terrible. On the other hand, a lot of DEI policies are actually basic common sense, because if you want to get skilled employees, it’s pretty ridiculous to exclude everyone who’s not white male. Which is to say, if companies have similar policies to what they had before even using a different name, it’s probably good for them and their employees, even if their cowardice is bad for the nation.
Because there are multiple people in the GOP, obviously. They all have their own agendas.
Some bureaucrats will decide what to cut. It is those offices and committees – probably both public and private – that are the death panels.
I don’t think the claim to Christianity is particularly relevant. Organized religion has been abused for its entire existence – one might reasonably argue that that was the point of it.
We all know who the real criminals are. The people in uniforms with badges and guns, who love to target minorities, who lie every day of their lives, under oath and on the stand, and pretend they’re not the bad guys because it was their coworker who did the horrible action, not them, they only stood by and watched.
Of course any death is sad. My heart goes out to both families. Also, if you want the problem to be solved, you start by locking up the dirty pigs, not by accusing the general public of … checks notes … understanding the current state of reality.
When the cops back the blue, when they lie and cheat to cover up their coworkers’ misdeeds, they all become targets…
And look, my friend, this is old news. We have said for decades that either cops regulate themselves or they will be regulated by the people. Even now, this message is still falling on deaf ears.
You might be out of touch, but it depends on what you mean about approaching people. For example, it’s perfectly reasonable to talk to anyone at all for a wide variety of reasons, including things related to your hobbies or your jobs or simply because you’re waiting for the bus. Conversation is generally a safe thing to do with other human beings. If you are specifically avoiding conversations with people because they are women, then I think you should rethink your position.
Maybe your parents are asking you to start flirting with people, which is totally different from simply talking to them. If that’s the topic, then it makes sense to be somewhat more careful about the time and place.
Comically, the error message is a lie. Why lie? … Nobody asked for optimization, right? If it were actually about optimization, the site would work slowly. But they are afraid to admit that they refuse to follow the specifications. Meh.
He does nothing. In theory he would be an opposition leader but he’s happy to play the “not quite as bad as Trump” role, which means he won’t do anything to actually stop Trump.
They are though. He’s done, he knows it, but he won’t leave and it takes time to force powerful old men to retire.

Yes of course it is a giant scam. That was the entire point. But it’s not just one person. The military industrial complex has many moving parts.
What’s an “actual” expense, anyway. Money is being spent on things and services. It’s probably not being burned in a campfire.
