It would lower housing costs because investment firms would bail on the housing as an investment strategy because they could make higher returns in other markets like bonds and stocks. With low interest rates housing is an incredible investment returns.
I bought my house with my military sign in bonus. I got 20k that i put into the s&p. After college it was 40k. My house was 120k.
Then the federal reserve made the choice to raise housing prices like crazy by lowing interest rates to 0.25% (1.9% apr for houses) and my house blew up to 500k.
Low interest rates have killed the market for anyone to ever buy a house now. They really need to raise rates to 10% before housing becomes affordable again

9·6 days agosounds like the required benefits are limiting peoples income and companies are just finding way around it. I still don’t know why Americans think medical should be tied to employment. Why not remove these required benefits from the employer and find another solution.
Do people post reply’s, then screen cap it, and share their reply to everywhere?

2·12 days agoI don’t disagree with that part. Wealth has power.
When is you how direct, it costs 100k to how an employee you pay 66k/hr.
You need to pay half of the social security, half of the unemployment, and in California, its 18k/yr for medical, (36k if he has a family), payroll tax, and that is if you provide zero retirement benefits.
