Isn’t nightcore sped up plus (optionally) additional pitch shift? Some of the vocals for nightcore songs sound a lot higher in pitch than what it would be if it was just sped up
Yes nightcore is usually some combination of
- speed up
- pitch shift
- additional simple drums
Wait until you hear what they did to “vaporwave” remixes. Many of newer “slowed down and reverbed” type edits now using time stretching algorithm with very nasty artifacts.
