Tried to create an alt twitter account. Twitter wanted my face as collateral.
It said, “Confirm you’re a human – Before signing into X, we need to verify that you’re a real person. Your photo will never be stored or used to identify you. This check flashes different colors. Use caution if you are photosensitive.”
I gave it a try with face partially covered twice, both times it rejected the attempt. What I gave was enough to identify I am human, but I guess not enough to positively identify exactly WHICH human.
Why do you want to join the social network run by a Nazi?
It’s not about wanting to join. It’s about accessing content that’s only available there.
You know, you don’t need all the content on the planet.
No, nobody does. But sometimes there are videos that are important that only get posted to Twitter, and you can’t see them unless you log in.
Use any of the dozens of nitter proxies
*Confirm you’re a trash human – By signing into twitter
If you just need to watch public X videos without signing in, use a tweet viewer that works without an X account. Just paste the post URL there.
Slop for Nazi Sloppers…
I got this once from Instagram. I uploaded an image of Fry from Futurama (a cartoon).
It worked.
I tried this when trying to make a Facebook account to browse marketplace and they permabanned the email I was trying to use for the creation of the account.
Can you try it with a Halloween mask of any are still available in a local store? Or maybe find a Santa decoration with a realistic looking face?
Don’t give those people your real face.
Next time try scanning an image of a person you find online, should be enough for twitter.
I had to make a Google account recently. Had to do the same thing. It’s required for pretty much any corporate account these days.
