I need to stop reading reddit. I just read on there about how JK Rowling ranted about asexuals and said our oppression is fake, and all these people on reddit are agreeing with her. Until I got too disabled to have a social life any more, I faced non-stop bullying for being ace. From endless, aggressive pressure to date, the time an elderly acquaintance loudly called me out in a busy cafe, announcing to the room that I must be a lesbian because he’d never seen me with a boyfriend and inviting everyone to speculate on my sexual preferences, being told I’m “unnatural and will die alone” and the time two so-called “friends” set me up to be r@p£d to try and cure me, which I was thankfully rescued from at the last minute (I tried to add a spoiler tag for this but it is not working)
It is ridiculous to say ace people don’t face discrimination and bullying.
I could say many things for people that think asexuality is a joke, a disease,nonexistant or anything else. I’d rather not waste my energy on such pathetic examples of people.
I’ll just say they can go fuck themselves, if they like it so much.
I’m so sorry for all of the horrible things that has happened in your life and all the discrimination you’ve faced. For reddit my solution has been to just not use it again. I know it’s toxic and it’s going to take a toll on my sanity with how much bigotry is normalized there and it’s so much reactionary, so I just don’t bother with it anymore.

sounds probably like a blessing more than you think. the tale is not the big deal anyways, and the ending is pretty anti-climatic. pretty weird that a woman writing a tale about discrimination and basically nazis with magic, ends like JKR, unless JKR wants to be the kylo ren of hogwarts
What happens at the end?
the big baddie divides his soul in many bits, the team destroys most of the pieces, harry potter supposedly is the “boy of the prophecy or something” that will defeat the big baddie because he’s so cool and stuff, but all his life achievements against the big baddie were just plot conveniences and “ancient magic”, and the big baddie is defeated by abother guy after he made a spell in the incorrect way or something

Ok umm, first of JK Rowling and terfshits is a godawful piece of fictional writing that has the depth of a shallow paddling pool and has well, let’s just say typical neo-liberal beliefs (aka rape is ok when the man is a victim).

It’s just, just when you think she’s as awful as can get, you find out she’s hateful to even MORE people. For absolutely no reason whatsoever. Did she say rape is OK when the man is the victim?
As for her writing, I tried to read the first book when it came out but found it so boring I couldn’t get beyond the first chapter. Tried to watch the first film when it came out, quit after 20 minutes. Just never saw what people saw in it. And I’m pretty sure she plagiarised the whole idea from The Worst Witch.
