Tom Watson - former Labour MP, former deputy leader of the Labour Party under Jeremy Corbyn, and life peer - defends his current employer Palantir.
Still can’t get over Tom Watson working for Palantir. If I were him I’d keep that quiet.
The interview is so wild! Like off the scale. Robinson opens with some light ribbing about Watson working for (basically) the same type of company he used to decry when an MP and he replies saying “I did well at O level computers so I always knew I’d end up here”. What the fuck?
His job is to be a hardcore shill for Palantir and lobby his former Labour mates.
At least the money must be good.
British politicans are laughably cheap to buy.
I noticed that Clive Lewis challenged Tom Watson to a public debate about Palantir which I thought was quite funny.
Clive said:
He can defend Palantir’s ethos, while I set out the case for democratic control and public accountability.
