It’s worth saying, that this painting is lickable.
The real thing is huge, and sparkles. I never expected it to be one of my favorite pieces of art I’ve ever seen in person… But in my defense, there were sparkles.

I’m really surprised because that’s not some obscure tweet or anything and literally nothing about the comic isn’t worse than the original. It’s not like it’s an homage.

I mean they’ve been doing it five days a week for like 20 years. It is possible that they saw the tweet, forgot about it, and then later remembered the joke but not the source.
