I’d prefer he had to live out a prison sentence if I am getting a choice in the matter. Giving him a quick way out feels unreasonably forgiving.
Not even he deserves being thrown into a russian prison, and European ones are too nice for him. I’d rather it be over. I’m too tired of this shit to come up with creative punishments.
Politkovskaya was also killed on his birthday and it is known that symbolism is important to him, so the expanlanation isn’t implausible.
The Russians don’t seem to get that all they are doing is fueling hate and resolve to resist and defeat Russia, while Ukranians are creating real shortages for Russians, which fuels hate for their own government.
