    As an European, the “you can’t close your account too fast, this process is mandatory” thing would be a one way to a trial.

          Not sure if you’re aware of this, but companies break laws in the EU too.

          That policy is likely illegal in the US & it certainly is extremely uncommon. I’ve never heard of it. This post isn’t an EU vs US thing which they were trying to make it.

          That’s the meaning.

            Canada too, but it’s a different level down there. Admittedly I don’t have a deep knowledge on these laws and across European nations, but despite all corruption I live through I still see how it can be much worse.
