    I always found it strange that there seems little effort to jailbrake smart TVs and install alternative roms on them. Some might even work nicely as home servers while still serving their function as a TV.

      I’m not much of a TV watcher but it always surprised me as well that there really isn’t a focus on them either.

      What surprises me the most is cars. It should be a very standard thing to take your car to the mechanic to remove all the spyware and get it to piggy back off your phone data for things like navigation and traffic

      Probably because you can just connect any device to it. I am watching a Twitch stream on my TV via my SteamDeck this very moment.
