No, capital has the means to enact the legal system. If, for arguments sake, we had perfect legal systems where legal representation was free, everyone would be protected equally. To be clear, I’m not proposing any particular solution, just being nitpicky in that “that’s how any legal system protects anything” isn’t correct - there clearly are possible systems that aren’t imbalanced.
