Well… russia is known for being selective with whom they sent to the front line. E.g. if you live in Moscow, you are a lot less likely to be selected than from other regions of Russia. And people claim that Russia is doing so because that helps them to avoid public outcry in major cities.
Given that the Russian public probably doesn’t give a shit about this guy, and we know that he was sent to the front line. He has probably been sent to the most dangerous front lines, repeatedly.

As of December 2025, the dad got drafted into the army and sent to the frontlines in Ukraine lol.

I’m not sure about the “selctive” part other than, as you say, avoiding what sounds like sending the wealthier people to war. They’re using mercenaries (or at least foreign “voluneers”), conscripts that force Ukrainians to fight their own people, jailed criminals, pretty much anyone they can send that doesn’t have enough clout to cause a stir. Plenty of russians have fled the country that could afford to do so, and more will follow.
Wealthier? Yeah but also from the highly populated areas. Protests are more likely escalate as more people are possibly involved
