For patching this seems to only work with 1 specific drive chipset. Also not sure if ‘native support’ in the chart means any BD drive (when relevant) or only if it only works with BD drives that were already models that had the specific hardware/firmware to read games (I’m guessing it’s this one).
I would be very upset with my old non-compatible LG drive if I didn’t also lack the other circumstances that would make ripping games usable.
You can hack blu ray players, which can help get around DRM but also let you make your own rips of both movies and games.
