i am turning 20 this year and i have never felt so much mental anguish and fear in my life before. I have researched it and apparently the early 20s is harsh because of the combination of figuring out your life way more independently than ever before and internal challenges (onset of schizophrenia, personality disorders etc.) I have never hated people more than I do now and I’m scaring myself sometimes.

Who has survived this period pelase tell me what to do I’m Scared

I’m almost twice your age and I can say the fact you re here and asking this means you are already ahead of where I was at that age. I didn’t understand shit about the world and certainly nothing involving communism. I have no idea what really to off as far as getting along with people. I was always very introverted and awkward, BUT what I will say is this: Take care of your body. Eat as best you can, get good sleep, and fucking exercise. There is no regret I have more in my life, then being so out of shape and I’ll riven at that age comrade. Take care of yourself before it’s too late to take care of yourself. And for the love of God if you work out be safe. Don’t do an extra set of reps because you are feeling good. Do what the plan says. Practice your form. Stretch well. Etc.

Take care of your body. Eat as best you can

Forgot to add eating to my take care of your body post but this is very important. Learn some basic cooking skills. The skill ceiling for cooking is in orbit but the floor for just keeping yourself fed better and cheaper than takeout slop is low. A few easy recipes go a long way, there’s a lot of stuff you can make in a single pan in 20-30 minutes.

My first adult health issue was caused by food. Drinking a mug of shitty instant coffee on an empty stomach for breakfast then greasy fast food slop for lunch. My stomach went on strike after a few months.
