You do not capitalize the word democrat unless you’re talking about members of a corporate controlled party within the United States. What’s so hard to understand?
Do you really see the idea as exclusive to you? I get it. Americans don’t see democracy as universal, just some selective cudgel you weaponize to steal natural resources. It’s not. It’s a universal human right that we all are entitled to.

Right. My point is that political parties very often don’t operate the way their name might suggest. Assuming Democrats would have internal processes that are democratic is, unfortunately, not a safe assumption to make.
Edit: Reread the thread. I guess that means your original comment was right. I still think it’s dumb to insist on using “nicknames” like “Demo©®at” though, and especially when you’re discussing the meaning of words it only serves to confuse the conversation, because you’re actually referring to the entity that everyone else would just call “Democrats”. It’s unclear what distinction is being made.
